Celtic Connection

La Connexion Celtique  Version Française

About Us

The Celtic Connection is an Association loi 1901.  Our mission is to promote Irish culture in Grenoble and the region, with particular emphasis on music, cinema and literature.  We organise a number of recurring events including an Irish film festival, a Hallowe'en event, St Patrick's day festivities and an annual picnic combined with AGM.

Our association was founded in 1992 by a group of Irish immigrants having recently settled in Grenoble.  The aims of the association, in addition to promoting our Irish culture to our Isérois neighbours include helping out new arrivals to Grenoble.  We've all been through the administrative hurdles and we can give good advice and support on how to deal with the numerous formalities you will encounter upon arrival in Grenoble.  We can also provide advice on where to get the best pint or where to watch the Gaelic and the hurling!

New members are always welcome.                                                contact us.
